On 13 September 2025, Atira Ruthenia took part in the first historical festival "Bilohorodskyi Kysil", organised by the Culture Department of the Bilohorodka Council in the Kyiv region.
Our programme
- Medieval dance: a workshop where visitors learned period dances.
- Candle-making: a hands-on workshop.
- Historical manoeuvres: we taught visitors how a medieval formation moves and keeps together.
- Duels at the lists: anyone who wanted could try their strength in a bout.
A partnership that continues
The festival was the start of a lasting relationship with the Bilohorodka community. In December 2025 the head of the community's Culture Department spoke at the conference marking our club's tenth anniversary, presenting "Bilohorodskyi Kysil" as a way of sharing the history and cultural heritage of the community: Ten Years of Atira Ruthenia.
We thank the Culture Department of the Bilohorodka Council for the invitation and look forward to the next edition.
