Medieval Clothing of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Ruthenia and Samogitia

Anna Kichapina from Atira Ruthenia took part in a presentation on medieval clothing and costumes of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Ruthenia and Samogitia, as part of a guided excursion at Barryscourt Castle, County Cork, Ireland.

The presentation explored how people dressed in the medieval Grand Duchy, including clothing styles, fabrics, colours, accessories and elements of social status. Historical sources and costume reconstructions helped participants better understand everyday life and cultural traditions in the region.

The guided excursion offered an opportunity to discover the rich and diverse heritage of the medieval lands of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Ruthenia and Samogitia.
